Our own Suns

We are all jaded reflections of our former selves;
Imperfect, flawed and wanting
Fading slowly into who we will become;
Dreamers, lovers and philosophers
Our tomorrows are distant silhouettes of beings within
They lay patiently, urging us on
In the shadows where they rest waiting for their turns to be seen
To be heard to be loved
So go kicking and screaming in to the night
With eyes wide open and tongues tied down
Let your souls do the listening and your hearts do the talking
For you are the sun that shall shine light unto your tomorrows
Realize that you are the pinnacle of life
Behind you are yesterdays and yesteryears that lay claim to what has been
And before you the future unfolds its delicate petals so touch it gently
Sing the songs your lineage and ancestors have written on your back
And sing a song for this 6 billionth wonder of the world
Because the I in my mind is the only one of its kind
Just as the I in your mind is the only one of its kind

Simply put...

I am human by default
And I manifest in this realm as a
5ft2, cup of desert skinned nothingness that covers the surface
Which vessels infinite love, for I was created in his likeness
He whose everlasting proportions and all encompassing philosophies of endlessness
And multiple vastnesses are too immense to grasp in a single clench of your mind
I am inherently human by default
But in the parallel real I am
Both the water and well of my own dreams
The evergreen garden of the summer time, the first day of spring
I am the anti-matter that pushes and pulls time in one second intervals
I am the perfect lover
With the perfect love, heart, dreams and aspirations ratio
To perfectly cradle within my own another’s heart
I am far reaching across the constellations and galaxies
That separate your pasts from your presents
I am the fist that clenches your yesterdays and tomorrows
And the thread that sews them together
And presents the tapestry of your life to the powers that be
But I am only human by default
And poetry is the gateway though which I can keep in touch with my truest self
Simply put, what you see before you is a default setting in the Creators…Master Plan
Because I am poetry

INVISIBLE TOO

Amazing isn’t?
How I’m here in front of you and still you don’t see me
Being invisible is a great magical feat unless you are offstage
And want the one you love to see you
"I want you to see me"

I want to be where your wondering eye stops
And not the vague figure in the peripherals of your sight
You have looked over me, through me and past me for so long
That I find it difficult to see me too
"I really want you to see me, at least for the last time"

I’m not too sure how far I left me behind but I’m going back there
To where I lost my way and found yours
That is where my dreams rest...waiting
Waiting patiently for me to grow a backbone
And strike a balance between the mind, body and soul to attain that inner peace, that gentle swaying motion of the universe that we call enlightenment

So I need you to see me
To see me look at you
And then through you
And give you your standing ovation
Because you have become invisible too

The vicious cycle of missing you

I miss you and missing you makes me hurt

Hurting makes me ache deep inside and I cry

Crying makes me need a shoulder to do it on

And that reminds me that you are no longer here to offer

And then I miss you...even more

I MISS YOU
